On Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m., Ernie Couch and Jason Couch, from Nashville, Tenn., will be returning to Waldoboro and sharing their country gospel music at the Waldoboro Word of Life Church as they spend about a week in Maine visiting six locations.
This Nashville-based Grammy-nominated father-and-son duo, Ernie Couch and Revival, present a high-energy mixture of classic and new cutting-edge gospel music. Known across the United States and Canada for their live music, good humor, and genuine spirit, the two men have been described as unique, refreshingly different, and a lot of fun.
Ernie Couch and Jason Couch have been working together on the road for over 25 years and their music has charted 10 singles in the United States and Europe. They have recorded with such musical greats as George Beverly Shea, Jake Hess, George Jones, Boots Randolph, Patti Page, Danny and the Juniors, and Petra, to name a few.
Ernie Couch and Revival produces high energy, emotionally colorful music reflective of the diverse musical heritage that has made Music City (Nashville) internationally famous. The group’s unique blend of traditional, country, and contemporary gospel music speaks to people of all ages and all walks of life.
The Waldoboro Word of Life Church is located just off Main Street in Waldoboro on Old Route 1. Following the concert will be a time of fellowship and refreshments. There will be no charge, but a love offering will be taken.
