Members of the public are encouraged to visit the Pemaquid Watershed Association office art gallery, at 584 Main St. in Damariscotta, to view some beautiful pieces of art from the PWA collection. These pieces were generously donated to the organization over the past few years. The collection includes paintings, photographs, prints, and drawings, most of which are original works of art that range in size and scope.
The art is on display in the office gallery weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All pieces are for sale and the recommended prices are posted. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this sale will benefit the work that PWA does to conserve the natural resources of the Pemaquid River watershed. The last day of the show and sale is Friday, March 16.
Since 1966, the Pemaquid Watershed Association has been a member-supported, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization. It has been a land trust since 1988. PWA’s mission is to conserve the natural resources of the Pemaquid Peninsula region through land and water stewardship and education.
