DMR: Storage Condition ‘A Mistake’
A Dept. of Marine Resources (DMR) official said the agency “made a mistake” in its initial determination that lobster trap storage on a commercial pier in South Bristol would damage nearby marine vegetation.
Breaking News – Firefighters Contain Dryer Fire In Nobleboro
Firefighters cleared the scene of a house fire at 418 Center St. in Nobleboro today around 10:30 a.m. The Nobleboro Fire Department responded with mutual aid support from Damariscotta and Newcastle shortly after 9 a.m. Center Street was briefly closed while firefighters contained the blaze.
