As of 11:30 a.m. today, CMP reports the following roads are impacted by power outages.
Boothbay: Back Eighty Road, Back Narrows Road, Back Narrows Social Club Line, Blue Water Road, Brook Road, Bryers Neck Road, Delano Road, East Barter Island Road, Isle Of Springs Road, School Street, and Wulfing Road.

According to a recent report by the Uniform Crime Reporting Program, crime is on the rise, albeit marginally, in Lincoln County.
EMA Storm Update
At this hour there are reports of 130 roads without power in Lincoln County, according to the LCEMA. The majority of those roads are in the Boothbay Harbor, Boothbay, Bristol, South Bristol, and Bremen areas.
No Public Works Department For Bristol
The Bristol Board of Selectmen unanimously voted to “put the Public Works Committee on hold until sometime in the future,” at their Oct. 6 meeting.
“The selectmen formed the committee to conduct a feasibility study” about the formation of a Public Works Department, Bristol Town Administrator Kristine Poland said.

Despite Outbreak, Oyster Harvest Continues
Contrary to news reports, the state has not closed the Damariscotta River’s oyster beds.
“That’s an incorrect rumor,” Dr. Chris Davis, co-owner of Pemaquid Oyster Company, said in an Oct. 19 phone interview.
