Oct. 27: Sgt. Warlick investigated a two-vehicle accident in the Hannaford Supermarket parking lot on Main Street. Stacy Day, of Alna, was driving a 1998 Subaru Impreza and struck a black 1997 BMW owned by Rosemary Dobrick, of Owls Head. No injuries were reported.
Oct. 28: Sgt. Warlick investigated a motor-vehicle accident on Main Street. Chauncey Follett, of Damariscotta, was driving a 2004 Chrysler Concord, and Chad Carter, of Jefferson, was driving a 2003 Dodge 1500. No injuries were reported.
Chief Young assisted a citizen at the police department, assisted with traffic control for pumpkin removal downtown, conducted a vehicle identification number verification at the police department, and assisted with traffic control for Central Maine Power Co. at Main Street and Biscay Road.
Officer Jim Dotson gave a warning for speeding on Bristol Road and conducted a pedestrian check on Bristol Road.
Oct. 27: Chief Young assisted citizens at the police department.
Sgt. Warlick assisted a citizen at the police department.
Officer Dotson assisted with pumpkin removal downtown, gave warnings for speeding on Back Meadow Road and Chapman Street, and assisted another agency in an attempt to locate a juvenile last seen in Damariscotta.
Oct. 28: Officer Tyson Fait assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street, investigated two alarms on Miles Street, and took a report of found property on Biscay Road.
Sgt. Warlick conducted a well-being check on Pond Circle.
Oct. 29: Sgt. Warlick responded to an alarm on Main Street.
Chief Young conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street and gave a warning for a bad pass on Route 1.
Officer Kyle Sylvester took a report of theft on Oak Road, gave a warning for speeding on Coastal Market Drive, and investigated an alarm on Main Street.
Oct. 30: Sgt. Warlick investigated alarms on Belvedere Road and Main Street, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, gave a warning for speeding on Main Street, conducted a well-being check on Heater Road, took a lost property report on Main Street, and took a report of an erratic vehicle on Biscay Road.
Officer Sylvester investigated an alarm on Main Street and took a police information report at the police department.
Oct. 31: Officer Dotson conducted speed enforcement on Bristol Road, investigated an alarm on Jackie’s Trail, assisted a citizen at the police department, assisted with traffic control for pumpkin removal downtown, assisted with disabled motor vehicles on Main Street, investigated an alarm on Main Street, and investigated a police information report on Church Street.
Chief Young, Sgt. Warlick, Officer Sylvester, and Officer Dotson attended the trunk-or-treat at the police department.
Officer Sylvester gave a warning for a defect on Back Meadow Road and investigated a noise complaint on Egypt Road.
Nov. 1: Officer Sylvester took a police information report on Ledgewood Court, gave two warnings for defects and two warnings for speeding on Main Street, and took a lost property report on Main Street.
Officer Dotson investigated a 911 hang-up on Westview Road.
The Damariscotta Police Department responded to 164 calls for service during the time period of Oct. 26 to Nov. 1.
