On June 1 U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced that ElderTide Farm in Dresden will receive a grant of $80,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Small Business Innovation Research Program. The funding will be used for product research and development.
“Our small businesses are the backbone of Maine’s economy. Grant funding such as this allows fledgling companies, like ElderTide Farm, with the opportunity to succeed and thrive,” said Senator Collins.
