Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Nov. 26, Steven Cartwright, 59, of Waldoboro was issued two summonses; one for Failing to Make an Oral or Written Accident Report and one for Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident, on Hinks Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
Nov. 28, Jamie D. Young, 31, of South Bristol was issued two summonses; one for operating under the influence – one prior and one for operating while license is suspended/revoked – OUI, prior, on Rt. 32, Bristol, by Deputy Brian Collamore.
Nov. 24, Charles F. Jewitt, 59, of Nobleboro was arrested for operating under the influence; operating after suspension and violating conditions of release, on West Neck Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
Nov. 25, Kandy A. Barbour, 49, of Jefferson was arrested and charge with Assault, on Circle K Lane, Jefferson, by Deputy Matthew Day. Barbour was also issued summonses for Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief, for the same incident.
On Nov. 23, an accident occurred on Rt. 27 in Edgecomb involving Brian S. Sukeforth, 45, of Edgecomb. Sukeforth was traveling southbound when a deer entered the roadway and ran into the side of his vehicle. Sukeforth’s 1993 Ford pickup truck sustained an estimated $1000 in damage. Sgt. Daniel Sceviour was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on Harrington Road in South Bristol involving Chelsea M. Cameron, 24, of Bristol. Cameron was traveling northbound when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve. As a result, her vehicle left the roadway and struck a CMP pole. Cameron’s 2000 Ford sustained an estimated $3000 in damage. Sgt. Alan Shea was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 27, an accident occurred on Rt. 32 in Bristol involving Jamie D. Young, 31, of South Bristol. Young was traveling westbound and due to driver inattention, he went off into the southbound ditch, struck a mailbox and then rolled over, coming to rest on the vehicle’s roof. Young’s 1981 Jeep utility vehicle sustained an estimated $3000 in damage. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 28, an accident occurred on Patricktown Road in Somerville involving Derek J. Peaslee, 20, of Windsor. Peaslee was traveling east when he hit a patch of ice. He then lost control, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree head on. Mr. Peaslee’s 1998 Honda sustained an estimated $5000 in damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
