June 28, Ryan A. Zinninger, 29, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana, on Rt. 1, Newcastle, by Major Ken Mason who was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Chad Andrews of the Damariscotta Police Department.
June 29, Richard Green, 51, of Edgecomb was arrested for violating condition of release, on Brick Hill Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
June 30, Brent K. Verney, 21, of Jefferson was arrested for reckless conduct, on Village Street, Jefferson, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
June 30, James Baker, 20, of Somerville was arrested for reckless conduct and operating under the influence, on Village Street, Jefferson, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
July 2, Cory L. Poulin, 31, of Augusta was arrested for violating a protective order, on Noyes Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Justin Drake.

July 3, Joshua Child, 33, of Wiscasset, speeding 75 mph in a posted 55 mph speed zone, Rt. 1, Newcastle, Deputy Mark Bridgham.
On June 28, an accident occurred on Rt. 27 in Boothbay involving Abdiraham A. Hassan, 43, of Portland. Hassan was operating his 1999 Ford Crown Victoria southbound when he became fatigued and entered the northbound lane. He then steered hard right, overcorrected, left the roadway on the southbound side and entered the marsh and wooded area, traveling about 100 feet before coming to rest in soft mud. Deputy Mark Bridgham was the investigating officer.
On July 2, an accident occurred on Patterson Road in Dresden involving Margaret R. Cates, 27, of East Vassalboro and Daniel P. Middleton, 35, of Dresden. Cates had stopped her 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier at the stop sign at the intersection of Cedar Grove Road and Patterson Road. She failed to look left before entering the intersection. Middleton was operating his 2004 Chrysler Pacifica west on Patterson Road when Cates pulled out in front of him. Middleton swerved but was unable to avoid striking Cates’ vehicle and leaving the roadway. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
