The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, with assistance from local law enforcement agencies, executed a search warrant at a Bristol Road, Damariscotta residence Jan. 31.
The Damariscotta Police Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted New Jersey authorities at the scene.
“We did a search warrant in conjunction with them but no one was arrested,” LCSO Lt. Michael Murphy said.
Murphy referred questions about the matter to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.
A spokeswoman for the office, Rachel Goemmat, said the office would neither confirm nor deny the existence of an investigation.
The Lincoln County News will report further details here and in the Feb. 7 print edition.
