The River Company opens its 18th season with “The Housekeeper” at Skidompha Library’s Porter Hall June 10.
“It’s our 18th season and ‘The HouseKeeper’ by James Prideaux is just the sort of local summer fireworks audiences will enjoy,” said Charles Waterman, director of River Company’s hilarious two character sparkler.
Andrea Handel and Tom Handel star as the unlikely pair who find themselves living and working in close quarters as housekeeper and writer/employer. Mitchell Wellman is technical director/stage manager for this lively yet minimal production.
“The Housekeeper” will be performed in the Porter Meeting Hall of the Skidompha Library in Damariscotta (Elm Street entrance) June 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. and June 12 and 19 at 3 p.m.
Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made by calling 563-8116. For more information, check out the River Companywebsite.
