Lincoln County Superior decided numerous criminal cases Oct. 10-24, including two theft cases involving two Waldoboro residents.
Kevin C. Brewer, 49, of Waldoboro was convicted of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer May 22 in Damariscotta and sentenced to 30 days in jail completed Monday.
Shawn T. Brewer, 26, of Waldoboro was convicted of theft by receiving stolen property March 14 in Waldoboro. The courts suspended all but 30 days of a 180-day jail sentence completed Monday and assessed him $6520 restitution. He was placed on probation for one year.
James R. Clark, 32, of Boothbay was convicted of refusing to sign a criminal summons Sept. 15, 2007 in Wiscasset and was given a three-month jail sentence. The court dismissed a second count of assault on plea.
On another indictment, Clark was found guilty of operating after habitual offender revocation, violating condition of release, and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug Jan. 25 in Wiscasset. The court suspended all but 10 months of a four-year sentence with the state Dept. of Corrections (DOC) for the first count, gave a seven-day jail sentence for the second count, and gave a seven-day jail sentence and fined him $400.
The court dismissed on plea, counts of unlawful possession of oxycodone, unlawful possession of hydrocodone, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, and unlawful possession of scheduled drug Jan. 25 in Wiscasset.
On a third indictment, Clark was convicted of operating after habitual offender revocation, theft by unauthorized use of property, and violating condition of release Aug. 26 in Wiscasset. For the first count, the court suspended all but 16 months of a four-year DOC sentence, fined him $1000, and set probation for two years.
For the other two counts, the court sentenced him to seven days in jail.
Brian E. Collins, 35, of Bremen was found guilty of operating under the influence June 19 and fined $500. The court also suspended his license for 90 days.
Wendy L. Gilman, 30, of Jersey City, N.J. was found guilty of operating under the influence June 6 in Boothbay Harbor, sentenced to 72 hours in jail, fined $50 and had her license suspended 90 days.
Joey L. Hopkins, 31, of Waldoboro was found guilty of assault, but the court imposed no sentence.
Kathryn Johnson, 35, of Damariscotta was convicted of allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor May 11 in South Bristol and fined $500.
James Larrabee, 33, of Augusta had his probation partially revoked for a probation violation and was sentenced to four months in jail.
Michael J. O’Hara, 51, of Rockland had his probation partially revoked for a probation violation and was sentenced to 24 hours in jail.
Robin Reed, 44, of Friendship had counts of criminal trespass and terrorizing Oct. 23, 2007 dismissed because of lack of a witness.
Christopher Sidelinger, 23, of Boothbay Harbor was found guilty of furnishing liquor to a minor Sept. 1, 2007, fined $500, and sentenced to 48 hours completed Oct. 14. The court dismissed a count of allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on plea.
