The Waldoboro Police Dept. report the following activities from the previous week:
Feb. 14, Officer Jeffery Fuller summonsed Nicole Holt, 33, of Damariscotta, for speed.
Feb. 15, Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Michael Ohara, 29, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.
Feb. 16, Officer Jeffery Fuller summonsed Kristi Hall, 20, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension.
Feb. 8, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of stolen money from a vehicle.
Feb. 9, Officers Sean Kozer and Thomas Bartunek investigated a report of someone interrupting a possible burglary in progress. The officers found two male subjects in the garage. Nothing appears to be missing at this time.
Feb. 10, Officer Michel Dutil investigated a non-injury accident at 4 p.m. Charles Stone, 38, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet four-door sedan, north on the Goshen Road, when a deer ran out in front of him. Stone took steps to avoid striking the deer, and ran off the road into a field and collided with rocks sustaining $2000 damage to his vehicle. He was not injured
Feb. 11, Officer Michel Dutil investigated a non-injury accident at 12:45 p.m. Ronald Brann, 59, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1995 GMC, pickup truck south on the Atlantic Highway, followed by a 2003 Pontiac van operated by Henry Groth, 77, of Waldoboro. Brann attempted a left turn onto W. Main Street and was struck by Goth. The Brann vehicle was not damaged. The Groth vehicle sustained $2500 damage.
