I am an emerging indie musician from Waldoboro. I have been playing guitar for a very long time, since age 6 (now 36), and have studied music diligently for most of my life and still practice virtually everyday. I graduated from GIT in Hollywood,CA in 2002 and won an award for World’s fastest guitarist in 2011 by Dr. David Adamovich and the Record Holders Republic official world organization. I have also was a previous student at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
I now play in a popular working cover rock band Worthy Bones here in Maine, which is based out of Augusta, and has been gigging around Maine since 2008. I was hired by them about 3 years ago. Before that I played in a metal band here in Maine called FMP (Forward Momentum Prophecy) for over 6 years. Before that I played with LA, California-based band Vertigo, and played world-famous clubs such as Whiskey-A-Go-Go (where Pantera, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and many famous, legendary acts have played). I also write and record my own rock music in my solo act Gilch, signed by AMG.
I teach private guitar lessons from my home music studio in Waldoboro right on the water for $40 for one hour lesson. I will also travel within reason (~20 miles) or if it is farther, then I will do Skype.
