Dance for a cause on Saturday evening, July 23 by dancing the night away to the rootsy high energy, get your feet stompin, Americana style music of the Blake Russo Band from Mount Desert Island. Listen to the band’s unique modern day harmonies and you will quickly discover that their tunes are definitely not your Grandad’s bluegrass music. Dancing at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center’s “We Sustain Maine” Summer Benefit Dance begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Darrows Barn at DRA’s Round Top Farm, Round Top Lane, Upper Main Street, Business Route One in Damariscotta. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
If you have heard them before, you will want to see them again and if this is your first time, you won’t want to leave! Tickets available by calling (207) 563-1363 or stopping by Spectrum Generations, Coastal Community Center at 521 Main Street, Damariscotta. ($10 in advance or $15 at the door). Tickets can also be purchased at King Eider’s Pub and Sherman’s Maine Coast Book Store in Damariscotta.
