Alice Irene Dodge, 92, of New Harbor, passed away on the morning of June 21 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born on June 13, 1924 in Everett, Mass., she was the daughter of the late John and Lilly (LaCasha) Bagnera Sr.
For Alice, her life was a journey of different paths. She enjoyed being a wife and homemaker, with a passion for gardening and cooking. Many delicious meals were created with her hands. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. A lover of Pemaquid Point, by far her favorite place, Alice was known for her great faith and inner strength. She will be remembered with respect and fondness.
In addition to her parents of Revere, Mass., she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne C. Dodge Sr.; brothers, Anthony Bagnera and wife Evelyn, and John Bagnera Jr. and wife Ada; sister, Petrina Bagnera; and son, Wayne Dodge Jr.
Alice is survived by daughters, Irene Geyer and husband Ronald of New Harbor, and Susan Norcross and husband Phillip of New Harbor; daughter-in-law, Lorna Dodge of Canada; grandchildren, Mark Dodge and wife Samantha, Joel Dodge and wife Lea, Jason Southern and wife Pamela, Michael Southern, Keith Norcross, Caitlyn Norcross, and Wade Norcross; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Cutler, Richard, Nickolas, Joelee, Cody, Eleanor, Kailey and River; and six nieces and nephews, James, Elaine, John, William, Ronald and Larry.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a graveside service at 11 a.m., Thurs., June 30 at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, Mass.
