Beatrice A. Perry, 82, of Waldoboro, died May 5 at Country Manor in Coopers Mills. She was born Feb. 20, 1930 in Waldoboro to Kenneth and Maryetta Peaslee Elwell. She grew up in Warren and graduated from Warren High School.
She moved to Massachusetts, got married and raised her family. She later married Benjamin “Ralph” Perry Jr. in Maine and they lived in Waldoboro. She raised her children and also was a positive influence on the neighborhood children. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Thomaston.
She enjoyed crafting, knitting, sewing, crocheting, listening to country music and watching NASCAR before it became popular to do so.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Perry who died in 1975.
She is survived by sons, Robert Piccuito of Florida, Carl Piccuito of Kentucky, Dominic Piccuito of Tennessee, Ken Piccuito of Arizona, and Brian Perry of Waldoboro; daughters, Mary Ann Olson of Waldoboro and Teresa Meservey of Alabama; step-children, Sandy Gordon, Robert Perry, Dorothy Parker, and Bryant Perry; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service 1 p.m., Tues., May 8 at the Riverside Cemetery, Rt. 32, Waldoboro. Pastor Tom Rawley will officiate.
