Carl Craig Creamer, 63, passed away with his family by his side at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta on Aug. 21. Craig was born on Jan. 7, 1954 to Carl Creamer and Lillyanne (Tibbetts) Creamer.
Craig grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools. He graduated from Medomak Valley High School in the Class of 1972. After high school he was a fisherman, and then went on to be a truck driver, driving cross-country. He again fished until 1988, when his health did not allow him to work. He was known as a straight shooter and a big hearted man who loved his grandchildren. Craig enjoyed the 4th of July parties on Hardy Island with family and friends. His passions were his pack of sled dogs, hunting, fishing, love of music, and travelling with his family.
Craig is predeceased by his parents; and sister, Bonnie Cole.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Creamer of Warren; brother, Jeffrey P. Creamer of Waldoboro; daughter, Jill Simmons and husband Jamie of Nobleboro; son, Christopher Creamer and wife Marcie of Waldoboro; grandchildren, Courtney Simmons, Erika Simmons, and Paige Simmons, all of Nobleboro, Chelsea Creamer, Brooke Creamer, and Mylie Creamer, all of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tues., Aug. 29 at the Counce Cemetery, 63 Peterborough Rd. in Warren, with Paul Smeltzer officiating.
