
Chelsea Loren Phillips, 27, of Bremen, passed away on Feb. 15 surrounded by her family at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born on Feb. 20, 1990 in Bar Harbor.
As a child, Chelsea lived in Lincoln County with her mother, Laurie Gaynor, and stepfather, David Mortimer, then later with her father, Bob Phillips and stepmother, Sarah in Southwest Harbor.
She graduated from Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro, loved taking photos, enjoyed music and wanted to learn guitar. Her last few years were devoted to her fiance Matthew Kinney and their daughter Rielyn.
She was predeceased by Nanna and Bampi Phillips of Islesford.
She is survived by mother, Laurie Gaynor of Jefferson; fiance, Matthew Kinney; daughter, Rielyn both of Bremen; stepfather, David Mortimer of Bremen; step-grandmother, Doris Mortimer of Bremen; sister, Stacy Gaynor of Massachusetts; grandmother, Martha Gray of Massachusetts; aunt, Karen Cedris of Massachusetts, cousins, Kristal Cedris and Tiffany Doherty of Massachusetts; aunt, Carol Clark of Massachusetts; father, Bob Phillips and stepmother Sarah of Southwest Harbor; uncle, Dave and Auntie Clair Phillips of Massachusetts; and cousins and nieces.
A celebration of life and luncheon will be held from 12-3 p.m., Sat., March 3 at the home of Laurie Gaynor, 418 Rockland Rd., Jefferson.
