Chester R. Brewer, 35, of Boothbay, died at his home on Aug. 21. Chester was born May 11, 1980 to Wallace Brewer Jr. and Linda Sprague Brewer. He grew up in Boothbay and graduated from Boothbay Region High School.
Chester worked as a sternman for Andrew Kenny. He loved being on the water fishing. He was a typical “Mountain Man.” He loved the outdoors and enjoyed trapping, fishing, and hunting. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was easy-going and stubborn at the same time. He loved spending time with his dogs. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias.
He was predeceased by father, Wallace H. Brewer Jr.; special uncle, Bobby Morton; and special dog, Molly B.
He is survived by mother, Linda Brewer of Boothbay; sisters, Donna Gregory and husband Marty of Jefferson, and Barbara (BJ) Warlo of Boothbay; brother, James Brewer and wife Angel of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; nephews, Patrick Gregory and wife Kristie of Nobleboro, Timothy Gregory of Jefferson, Daniel Lewis and wife Kathy of Wiscasset, and James Paul Brewer of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; nieces, AmyLynn Balsdon and husband Tyler of Boothbay, Chelsea Copeland and husband Paul of Boothbay Harbor, and Stephanie Brewer of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one great-niece; and two great-nephews; and special aunt, Anna Morton of Boothbay.
A private family gathering will be held.
