Dean T. Morgan, 74, of Sudbury, Mass., died Dec. 22 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Mass.
He was born in Banner Elk, N.C., son of the late Thomas O. and Nancy (Houser) Morgan.
A resident of Sudbury, Mass. for the past 40 years, he was the husband of Ellen (Longfellow) Morgan for 46 years. They have a family residence in South Bristol.
He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, class of 1955, and later earned his master’s and doctorate degrees at MIT in nuclear engineering. He was retired from Thermo Electron Corporation.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Cecily Anne Field and husband Timothy of Dundas, Ontario; sons, Stephen Morgan and wife Anna of Florence, S.C. and Douglas Morgan of Somerville, Mass.; sister, Phyllis Ann Homes and husband James of Uniontown, Ohio; nephew and niece; and beloved granddaughters, Grace Ellen Field, Anne Cecily Field, Felicity Barbara Field, Elena Morgan and Eliza Morgan.
Funeral 1 p.m., Fri., Dec. 28 at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St., Maynard, Mass.
