Doris White Cunningham, 71, of Elloree, S.C., wife of Neil O. Cunningham, passed away March 22 at her home with her husband by her side.
Doris was born in Danbury, Conn., a daughter of the late Charles White and Gertrude Schutte White. She owned and operated Cunningham Farms vegetable stand in Boothbay for over 30 years and worked at Robinson’s Wharf in Southport prior to moving to Elloree.
Surviving are her daughter, Victoria (Hal) Runyon of Lisbon; son, Charles Randall (Nancy) Cunningham of Boothbay; step-children, Guy Cunningham of Northfield, Conn., Neil Cunningham of Kentucky, Melissa Jackson of Orangeburg, S.C., and Brandi Koss-Weingert of Syracuse, N.Y.; grandchildren, Nicholas Runyon of Lewiston, and Jennifer (James) Hein of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; great-grandson, Owen Hein; and many step-grandchildren.
She touched the lives of the many people she came in contact with and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service was held March 25 at the residence in Elloree, S.C.
