
Elena A. (Collamore) McIntyre, 69, of Rockland, passed away on Jan. 3 at home with her family by her side, under the care of her daughter and medical staff. She was born on Aug. 3, 1948 in Rockland to Bertrand and Rita Collamore.
Elena held various jobs over the years. One of the most important jobs was being a mother. She also worked at the Port Clyde Canning Company, Oak Island Seafood, and Park Street Laundry. She was a great cook and baker. One of her favorite things to do on a Saturday morning was to attend lawn sales.
Elena attended and was a past board member of the Church of Nazarene in Union.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bertrand and Rita Collamore; and brother, Richard Collamore.
She is survived by husband Kenneth McIntyre of Rockland; children, Sandra, Lisa, and Ronnie; brother, Donald Collamore and wife Rebecca of Bristol; granddaughters, Jessica, Shelby and Kaitlyn; two great-granddaughters; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many dear friends at the Port Clyde Canning Company. She will be forever in our hearts.
A service will be held in the spring time at Hall Funeral Home in Waldoboro.
