Flora E. Hall, 89, of Round Pond, went to be with Jesus on the early evening of June 15 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
Born in Marion, July 8, 1917, she was the daughter of John and Edith (Sampson) Grant.
During her life she experienced many struggles and hardships but persevered through each and every storm she encountered. Flora lived a very quiet life. She loved her home and could make a home anywhere, sometimes with very little. She was a hard worker and a very devoted wife to Richard, her husband of 47 years.
Flora is survived by her husband, Richard, of Round Pond; son, Blake S. Hall of Bristol; daughters, Gail F. Moore of Round Pond, and Kathy Kaeka of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren, Scott Cushing of Celebration, Fla., Carolyn Mattern of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., and Jesse Dudley of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Nyssa Mattern of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., and Deegan Dudley of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; and her dearest friend, Nellie Leeman of Round Pond, whom she loved very much.
Flora will be laid to rest, privately, Tues., June 19 at the Chamberlain Cemetery in Round Pond.
