Francis Joseph Pelletier left this world on Feb. 24.
He was the son of Emile and Frances Pelletier. Fran grew up in Milford and later moved to Plantsville, Conn. where he lived for 39 years.
During WWII he served three years in Europe in the 71st Infantry.
He retired to his beloved New Harbor. After living in Maine for several years, he and his wife moved to Billings, Mont. where sons, Noel and Christopher lived nearby.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Paul, Robert, Anna and Ellen.
He is survived wife, Ardelle Pelletier; children, Suzanne, Jeffrey, Noel, Marc, Christopher, and Melissa; younger brother, Charles; sister, Nancy Dunn; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Sat., Aug. 27 (a luncheon will be served) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 61 Belvedere Rd., Damariscotta.
