George Alan Corson, 36, of Dresden, died Sept. 24 at his home.
He was born in Greenfield, N.H. on Nov. 3, 1969, the son of Richard J and Elain Ames Corson.
He was educated in Concord, N.H. and Wiscasset schools. On May 20, 1987 he married Rachael May Chapman.
In 1986 he joined the Navy and later went on to be a lobsterman and a marine worm digger.
He enjoyed playing guitar and, along with his wife, took pleasure in videotaping wild deer in the forest. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father.
Surviving are his wife of 19 years; two daughters, Megan Alexandra Corson and Natalie Andrea Corson; a son Andrew Ames Corson; two sisters, Louanne Falkingham of Ripley Neck and Pamela Hollenbeck of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services 2 p.m., Fri., Sept. 29 at the Wiscasset Church of the Nazarene, 255 Gardiner Rd., Wiscasset, with the Rev. Wally Staples officiating. Reception immediately following in Fellowship Hall.
