Gwendolyn A. Ott, 61, of Warren, passed away peacefully at home on July 24, following a long illness with her companion, Raymond Ott, by her side.
Born in Damariscotta, Dec. 2, 1945, she was the daughter of Charles I. and Arliene Seigars Pierce. She grew up in the midcoast area, attending local schools.

Gwen enjoyed reading, crocheting, collecting jewelry, watching TV, talking with friends, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Fishing and going for rides either by car or boat were also favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed visiting the Rockland Breakwater and family gatherings at Lucia Beach.
“Always out-going and willing to help anyone,” her family also said that she was quite a “hot rod.” She loved dogs.
