Janice Chapman Revock, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away from cancer at age 65. On Aug. 8 she surrendered gracefully at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.
Janice was proud to be of a very large, old Maine family. She was the ninth child of ten, raised in Dresden by her parents, Fred and Florence-King Chapman.
She is survived by three brothers and one sister, David Chapman and Gerald Chapman, both of Dresden, Louis Chapman of Auburn and Rose Chapman Boudin of Wiscasset.
She joins the ancestors and family who have passed before, her parents; husband, Daniel; bothers and sister, Edward, Howard, Philip, Robert and Maxine.
She leaves one son and two daughters, Jeffrey Revock of Brooklyn, N.Y., Kimlee Revock of Newport, R.I., and Deana Revock of Auburn; Deana’s family, Janice’s much loved grandson and great-granddaughter, Steven Revock and daughter Katia Revock of Auburn.
Janice will be laid to rest at Forrest Hill Cemetery, River Road, Dresden 1 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 17. Following the burial will be a gathering at the Jay Robins Richmond Historical Society, 164 Pleasant St., Richmond. We welcome all who knew her. Feel free to bring a dish or a story to share in celebrating her life.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn or the Palliative Care Unit at St. Andrews in Boothbay Harbor.
Arrangements are by Mayo & Daigle Funeral Home, 40 Federal St., Wiscasset.
