Jason Ryan Melanson, 21, of Barrington, N.H., passed away suddenly on Nov. 25.
Jason graduated from Wiscasset High School Class of 2007. He was employed at Cole-Haan in Greenland, N.H. Jason’s greatest passion was snowboarding and participating in competitions with best friend and twin brother Justin and many, many other riders. He was a free spirited young man who enjoyed boating, wakeboarding, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, fishing and camping with family and friends at his camp in West Forks. Jason was a reliable, caring, loving and handsome man who loved his family and friends.
He was predeceased by grandparent, Joseph K. Chubbuck; and cousin, Emily E. Madden, who passed away Oct. 3.
Members of his family include his parents Beth (Chubbuck) Melanson of Rochester, N.H., Jeff Melanson and wife Jessica of Mooresville, N.C.; sister, Alicia Melanson; twin brother, Justin Melanson and partner Ashley Dean; niece Katie Dean-Melanson; long-time girlfriend Courtney Atwood; step-siblings, Tyler, Jeremy and Cara Small; maternal grandparent, Alice Chubbuck Merry of Wiscasset; paternal grandparents, Helen Lawson and husband Jim of Barrington, N.H., Richard Melanson and partner Alice Riley of Barrington, N.H., aunts and uncles, Kenneth and Patricia Chubbuck of Windsor, Eva and Greg Madden of Barrington, N.H., Diane and Greg Hammond of Wiscasset, Wendy and Chris Bubar of Dover, N.H., and Jaylene and Rob Cutting of Dover, N.H.; cousins, Deanna and Ashley Chubbuck, Bobby Madden, Marissa and Kelsey Hammond, Brianna Bubar and Autumn Cutting; as well as great-aunts, great-uncles and many, many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 3-6 p.m., Wed., Dec. 1 at the Tasker Funeral home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, N.H., followed by funeral services at 6 p.m.
