Joshua Jade Weston, 34, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 21 at his residence.
Joshua was born on June 17, 1982 to Joseph S. Weston and Elaine York. Josh grew up in Union, attending Union Elementary School and D. R. Gaul Middle School. Josh had many fond memories of his years in the Union Schools where he was awarded for his strengths in academics, sports and community support. He also attended Medomak Valley High School and Camden High School. In school he was very active in sports, excelling in basketball. He was very clever and charming and most popular in school. Josh was a member of Boy Scouts and he loved camping and fishing.
Joshua was a construction laborer in the Rockland/Waldoboro area.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Marie Weston; and maternal grandparents, Lee and Julia York.
Joshua is survived by mother, Elaine York of Benton; father, Joseph Weston and wife Beverly of Cushing; sons, Jacob Weston of Chicago, Ill., and Cole Weston of Union; daughter, Grace Weston of Union; brother, Luke Weston and companion Nicole Libby of Waldoboro; sisters, Angel Haycock of Auburn, Sonya Thiboutot of Boothbay, Bobbi Jo McFarland of Waldoboro, and Cheryl Stackpole and husband Scott of Cushing; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A remembrance of life will be held at 2 p.m., Tues., Jan. 31 at the Celebration of Life Family Church, Rt. 90, Rockport, with Jake Barbour and Sister Nancy Pais officiating.
