Louise P.F. Young, 92, of Chamberlain, passed away at her family home on the evening of March 5.
Born on Feb. 8, 1919, in Bernard’s Township, N.J., she was one of three children of Martin Peto and Grace (Pecsi) Peto.
Mrs. Young worked as an Executive Secretary for Beneficial Management Corporation in Morristown, N.J., retiring in 1982.
Mrs. Young moved to Chamberlain with her husband George (Jack) John Young Jr. in 1985. Mrs. Young was always active. She liked to sew, garden and bird watch, along with being a member of the Willing Workers Organization in New Harbor for many years.
She is predeceased by her husband in March of 2001 and brothers, Louis and Rudy.
She is survived by her beloved niece, Bobette Guerriori and husband Anthony of Bernardsville, N.J.; sister-in-law, Beluah Peto of Bernardsville, N.J.; stepchildren, George John Young III of Colonia, N.J., Cindee Young and husband Robert of Chamberlain and Shelley Y. Nolan and husband Bill of Somerville, N.J.; and grandchildren, Cheri Richman of Ringwood, N.J., Matthew Young of Chamberlain and Zachary and Spencer Nolan of Somerville, N.J.
Mrs. Young will be laid to rest with her husband in the New Harbor Cemetery in the spring.
