Marion C. Williams, 93, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Dec. 5. She was the daughter of Clarence and Louisa (Tamargo) Corsa and wife of Sanford H. Williams who predeceased her in May 1992.
Marion was born in Pinelawn, N.Y. Jan. 16, 1920 and raised on her family farm in Melville, N.Y. During WWII she worked for Ranger Aircraft.
On June 2, 1946, she married Sanford H. Williams. Marion was a great homemaker who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her husband, and family. Waldoboro and Rhinebeck United Methodist were her church homes.
Sanford and Marion retired to Maine in 1979 where she lived until 2003. From that point forward until her passing, Marion resided with both her son and daughter.
Marion was predeceased by her sisters, Esther Kinney, and Mildred Coningsby; and brother, Wilmont Corsa.
She is survived by her children, Nina L. Doyle and husband David, and John S. Williams and wife Darleen; grandsons, Matthew L. Doyle and wife Jennifer, Nathan J. Williams, Jordan D. Williams and wife Bethany, and Seth A. Williams and wife Krystal; great-grandsons, Quinn M. Doyle, and Matthias J. Williams; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Williams and his family.
Calling hours will be 10-11 a.m., Tues., Dec. 10 at the Waldoboro United Methodist Church followed by a service of celebration of Marion’s life at 11 a.m.
