Marjorie Frances (Coolidge) Clark, 83, of Exeter, N.H., formerly of Amesbury, Mass. and Nobleboro, died peacefully at her home Nov. 27.
Born in Hudson, Mass., Feb. 26, 1927, daughter of the late Rufus Holder and Laura Amelia (Hall) Coolidge, she was a graduate of Hudson High School and Whittier Vocational Technical School.
She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the former Amesbury Hospital. In 1975, she received her Nursing Degree from Whittier Vocational Technical School, and began working at various nursing homes in the area as a licensed practical nurse. She also worked at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta after moving to Nobleboro with her husband Frank in 1985.
Marjorie was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Amesbury, Mass.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Lewis Clark in 2007.
She is survived by her children, Douglas E. Clark and wife Sue of Bristol, Richard A. Clark and wife Susan of Amesbury, Mass. and Madison, N.H., Kenneth E. Clark and fiancée Suzanne Rackett of Seabrook, N.H., Brian S. Clark of Rochester, N.H., David L. Clark and wife Karen of Amesbury, Mass., Holly A. Brackett and husband Al of Kingston, N.H., Laurie B. Clark of Merrimac, Mass. and Heidi L. McIntyre and husband Michael of Exeter, N.H.; grandchildren, Jamie A. Clark and wife Sandra, Tara L. Baillargeon and husband Bob, Matthew W., Nathaniel O., Jason T., Lauren B., Sarah A. and Emily R. Clark, Torey R. Moughan, Zachary J. Brickett and Jennifer N. Dover; and great-grandson, Kyle A. Clark.
Visitation 3-5 p.m., Fri., Dec. 3 at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, Mass., immediately followed by memorial services at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
