Mark Wayne Lash, 54, of Waldoboro, passed away at his home on March 14.
Mark was a boat repairman by trade and a skilled craftsman, though he was too patient, generous, and forgiving for success in business. He had a gentle and compassionate nature and enjoyed helping others, often being the first to respond to a need. He had a gift for teaching and freely shared his wealth of knowledge and experience with others. He enjoyed taking his hand-crafted boat out on the pond with his brothers and nephews. He will be fondly remembered as the best customer at his daughter’s imaginary hot dog stand.
He is predeceased by sister, Tammy; and half-brother Joshua.
He leaves behind his brothers and best friends, Tony, Ricky, and Timmy; sister, Missy; mother, Marlene Luce; father, Nelson Lash; step-father, Irville Luce; daughter, Alicia Lawson; grandchildren, Juliette, Annalise, Dallin, and Gray; and nieces and nephews, Aimee, Anthony, Angie, Hope, Parker, Brianna, Jeremiah, Justin, Kristen, and Tyler.
Visiting hours will be held 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thurs., March 19 at Hall’s of Waldoboro with a service to follow at 1 p.m., officiating is Tom Rawley.
