Martin James Koughan, 75, of Wiscasset, died Jan. 18 at his residence.
He was born in Boston, Mass. on Jan. 10, 1942, a son of Martin Joseph and Del (Antonucci) Koughan.
He attended Roslindale, Mass. schools and was employed at a clothing store in Boston. On May 26, 1963 he married Dorothy J. Hall and in 1973 they moved to Wiscasset. He was employed and part owner of Reliance in Wiscasset. They moved to Texas from 1983 to 1988 and returned to Wiscasset and his job at Reliance. He was then employed at Wiscasset Ford and later at Lester Morse Auto as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. Koughan of Wiscasset; daughters, Diane Blackman and husband Kenny of Wiscasset, Debbie Koughan of Waldoboro, and Danielle Koughan of Boothbay; sister, Carol McCarthy of Brockton, Mass.; brother-in-law, Frank C. Hall and wife Ann of Brockton, Mass.; grandchildren, B.K., Marty, Alex, Mariah and Mathias; great-grandchildren, Mathew, Keegan and Sheldon; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
