Mary Janet Mosher, 94, of Damariscotta, died June 15 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. She was born Jan. 1, 1915 in South Portland, a daughter of Ray and Venora Barter Cash.
She grew up in South Portland and graduated from South Portland High School in the class of 1932. She married Richard Mosher and they moved to Coopers Mills in 1945. She worked for Medomak Canning Company for many years. She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed crocheting and looking for antiques. She loved people and enjoyed her visits with her family. She was also very fond of her cat, “Baby.”
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Mosher, and brothers, Melvin C. Cash and Laron Cash.
She is survived by two nephews, Earl M. Cash, Sr. of Bridgton and Robert Cash of Hiram; nieces, Sharon Dyer of Jefferson, Shirley Stevens of Windsor, Maxine Pushard of Chelsea, Peggy Nash of Rockport, and Nancy Duncan of Rockport; several other nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Alice Cash of South Portland.
There will not be any service. Mary will be buried in Fairview Cemetery in Jefferson.
