Michael L. White, 28, of Damariscotta, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 19 in Newcastle. Born on May 2, 1985, in Takoma Park, Md., he was the son of Kenneth and Donna (Carey) White.
Michael grew up in Maryland before moving to Millinocket where he attended Stearns High School. After getting his degree, he moved back to the Virginia area for several years, before moving to Damariscotta about two years ago.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing and paintball. He also loved cars, and could tell you the make and model of every old car out there. He was very handy and loved building things and helping his kids with projects. One of those projects was helping them make their derby pumpkins for the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest this year.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth James White.
He is survived by wife, Meghan Deucher of Damariscotta; children, Lillian, Carson and Nolan White, all of Damariscotta; mother, Donna White of Reston, Va.; siblings, Kenny White, Tom White, Dave White, Stephanie Munoz, and Catherine White; stepmother, Lynda Teays; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the Washington D.C. area at a later date.
