Thomas E. Gregory II, 59, of Westport Island, died suddenly July 11 at his residence.
He was born in Springfield, Mo. on Feb. 27, 1947, the son of Thomas E. and Mildred (Lewis) Gregory Sr. He graduated from Springfield, Mo. High School and from Jan. 27, 1967 to Jan. 5, 1973, he served in the U.S. Marines. From Aug. 8, 1978 to Aug. 7, 1982, he served in the U.S. Navy at the Brunswick Naval Air Station. In 1984, he was employed at Bath Iron Works in the electrical department.
He was a member of the Springfield, Mo. Rod & Gun Club.
He enjoyed cooking, camping, mowing lawns and entertaining.
He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Gregory of Westport Island; one daughter, Holly Lambert and husband John of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Grayson Lambert, McKinley Lambert, and Joshua Lambert, all of Springfield, Mo.; one cousin, Jan Armstrong and husband Ed of Henderson, Nev.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting hours 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Fri., July 14 at Mayo, Curtis & Hill Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath.
Funeral service with military honors 10 a.m., Sat., July 15 at the funeral home.
Gathering of family and friends will follow at his residence on Westport Island.
