W. Kenneth Easter, 83, passed away March 24 at Shore Village Nursing Home in Rockland.
The son of Walter and Lilla (McDermid) Easter, he was born Sept. 10, 1923 in Framingham, Mass.
For many years he worked in management at Bath Iron Works, from where he retired. He was also an active member of the Shriners for over 50 years.
He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by Edna, his loyal and devoted wife of many years. He also leaves his daughter, Jennifer Easter; grandchildren, Emily Kelly and husband Chad, Ashley Libby, and Luke and Jack Easter; great-grandson, Tucker Kelly; sister, Gail LaRocque; and several Canadian relatives.
Service to honor Ken 12 noon, Sat., March 31 at the New Harbor Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
All are invited to the Willing Workers Hall in New Harbor to celebrate Ken’s life with the family at 1 p.m., following the service.
If desired, donations may be made in his memory to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
