William “Bill” D. Clark, 68, of Waldoboro, passed away Nov. 20 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
Bill was born March 28, 1940 in Southbridge, Mass., a son of the late Albert and Ina Jacobs Clark. He grew up in Broomfield, Mass.
He began working at Pratt & Whitney and was a long-time employee of Pratt & Whitney for 35 years. After retirement he moved to Waldoboro where he has lived for the last four years.
He was known in his neighborhood for his generosity and his cooking ability. He was very giving and anyone who went to visit went home with a bag of goodies. He loved to meet new people and engage them in conversation. He was outgoing and fascinated by everyone he met. He liked to play his harmonica and he and his wife Lynette enjoyed riding their motorcycles.
Bill was a family oriented person who loved spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Lawrence, and stepfather, Aime Vincent.
Survivors include his soul mate of 27 and one half years, Lynette Orcutt Clark, of Waldoboro; sons, Billy Clark of San Diego, Cal., Jimmy Clark of East Hartford, Conn., and Bobby Clark of Southbridge, Mass.; daughters, Sharon Clark of Leicester, Mass., Pam Clark of Southbridge, Mass., and Buffy Clark of Arizona; sister, Pat Benoit of Southbridge, Mass.; brothers, Daniel Vincent of Southbridge, Mass., and Dick Clark of Lake Park, Fla.; eight grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Visitation 12-2 p.m., followed by a celebration of life, Sat., Nov. 29 at Hall Funeral, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
