The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity from Sept. 14-19:
Robert Lacombe, 32, Waldoboro, domestic violence assault, Sept. 14.
Miguel Batz, 31, Waldoboro, operating after suspension, violation of condition of release, Sept. 19.
Laurie Jo Farrar, 43, Waldoboro, expired motor vehicle registration, operating after suspension, Sept. 14.
Sept. 14: Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident at the intersection of Bremen Road, Kaler’s Corner Street, Main Street, and West Main Street at 12:30 p.m. Christine Boisvert, 72, of Friendship, was driving a 2013 Volkswagen sedan. Fredric Nichols, 65, of Belpre, Ohio, was driving a 2016 Dodge pickup truck. Boisvert was eastbound on Main Street. Nichols was southbound on Kaler’s Corner Street, entering traffic, and struck Boisvert.
Sept. 17: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident at the intersection of Bremen Road, Kaler’s Corner, Main Street, and West Main Street. Priscilla Simmons, 77, of Friendship, was driving a 2006 Toyota utility vehicle. Elizabeth Griffin, 34, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2002 Toyota utility vehicle. Simmons was southbound turning from Kaler’s Corner Street onto Main Street and failed to yield the right-of-way while negotiating a left turn. Griffin was northbound on Bremen Road. Simmons struck Griffin in the middle of the intersection.
Sept. 17: Officer Fuller investigated a report from The Big Apple of a $29.76 gasoline drive-off.
Sept. 19: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle.
Waldoboro officers responded to 111 calls for service.
