The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity for the period of April 24-28:
Joshua Benner, 28, Newcastle, operating after suspension/habitual offender, warrant, April 28.
Jesse Howard, 26, Augusta, warrant, April 27.
Casey Palmer, 25, Bristol, probation violation, April 24.
William Perry, 16, Waldoboro, operating a motor vehicle without a license, April 27.
Derick Winslow, 27, Waldoboro, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, violation of condition of release, April 25.
April 26: Officer Chris Spear investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 9:19 a.m. Alice Parlin, 55, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2010 Subaru. Steven Tapley, 54, of Deering, N.H., was driving a 2000 Mack tractor-trailer. Parlin was driving south, failed to stay in the proper lane, and ran into the back of the Tapley vehicle, which was also southbound.
April 27: Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident at the Atlantic Highway-Jefferson Street intersection at 3:40 p.m. Carl Bruening, 72, of Boothbay Harbor, was driving a 2013 Ford utility vehicle. Brady Thayer, 17, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2013 Ford sedan. Bruening was westbound on Atlantic Highway. Thayer was northbound, turning onto Atlantic Highway from Jefferson Street, and failed to yield the right-of-way.
April 24: Officer Hesseltine investigated a report of criminal mischief to three tires on a vehicle.
April 26: Officer Hesseltine investigated a report of the theft of a wallet.
April 28: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of damage to a TV dish as a result of someone shooting the dish with a pellet gun.
Officers responded to 154 calls for service.
