The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Feb. 27 to March 6:
Brian Bennett, 37, Waldoboro, warrant, March 6.
Dezarae McPhee, 23, Waldoboro, warrant, March 1.
Angela Wellman, 29, Waldoboro, operating under the influence, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, Feb. 27.
Travis Smith, 35, Northport, failure to show proof of insurance, Feb. 28.
Edward Zona, 36, Waldoboro, operating after suspension, Feb. 27.
Feb. 28: Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident at the intersection of Atlantic Highway, Kaler’s Corner Street, and Winslows Mills Road at 6:30 a.m. Jonathan Rosa, 35, of Springfield, Mass., was driving a 2015 International medium truck north, making a left turn. Travis Smith, 35, of Northport, was driving a 2009 Ford sedan west, starting in traffic, and failed to yield the right-of-way. Smith was stopped at the intersection and did not go when the light turned green. Rosa began making a left-hand turn and was in the middle of the intersection when Smith accelerated and hit the Rosa vehicle.
Feb. 28: Officer Hesseltine investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 6:50 a.m. Lari Beaucage, 44, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2014 Ford sedan west. A deer ran out into the road in front of Beaucage, who was unable to avoid striking the deer.
Feb. 27: Officer John Lash investigated a report of unwanted subjects in a home.
Feb. 28: Officer Hesseltine investigated a complaint of criminal mischief to a windshield within the last couple of days.
Feb. 28: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a complaint of harassment and gave a warning for harassment.
March 2: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of a theft of medication.
March 3: Officer Lash investigated a report of a burglary and a theft of some coins.
March 4: Officer Fuller investigated a report of a burglary and a theft of $800 and paperwork.
Officers responded to 200 calls for service.
