The Wiscasset Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Feb. 5-11:
Feb. 7: Mark Bisson, 64, of Sanford, was parked in the Irving parking lot on Bath Road. Mark Erskin, 67, of Camden, tried to park in front of Bisson. Erskine misjudged the turn, striking the right front of Bisson’s vehicle. There were no injuries.
Feb. 7: Chad Breton, 37, of Wiscasset, was traveling northbound on Route 1 and turning onto Gardiner Road (Route 27) when he slid on the snow and struck the curb, breaking off the right front wheel of his vehicle. There were no injuries.
Feb. 7: Toby Shipley, 36, of Wiscasset, was traveling northbound on Willow Lane when he came around a turn, slid off the roadway due to snowy/icy road conditions, and struck a tree. There were no injuries.
Feb. 5: Officers responded to a civil complaint on High Street. The issue was resolved.
Feb. 6: Officers responded to a non-reportable accident, gave a warning for speeding on Bath Road, and gave a warning for erratic operations on Federal Street.
Feb. 7: Officers responded to a complaint of a possible theft on Pooler Pit Road (under investigation), issued a concealed weapons permit, and assisted a citizen with a disabled motor vehicle at the intersection of Foye Road and Gibbs Road.
Feb. 8: Officers responded to a report of erratic operations on Lowelltown Road (unable to locate vehicle), issued a concealed weapons permit, responded to a report of criminal mischief on Foye Road, issued three parking warnings on Middle Street, provided a special detail at Wiscasset Middle High School for a basketball game, and responded to a report of a domestic disturbance, which was resolved.
Feb. 9: Officers conducted a court-ordered compliance check on an inmate, issued a written warning for illegal parking on Middle Street, towed a vehicle from Middle Street that was the subject of a previous warning for illegal parking, responded to a report of erratic operations on Bath Road (unable to locate vehicle), responded to a complaint of harassment via text message on Gardiner Road, completed a sex offender registry check-in, and responded to a report of a vehicle blocking a plow truck on Gorham Road.
Feb. 10: Officers responded to a report of threatening on Bath Road, responded to a report of harassment on Deer Ridge Road, responded to a report of erratic operations at the intersection of Bath Road and Gardiner Road (unable to locate vehicle), responded to a disabled vehicle on Bath Road, responded to a civil complaint related to a custody dispute on Duck Pond Way, gave a warning for speeding and an expired license, assisted another agency on Brown Road, and gave three warnings for speeding.
Feb. 11: Officers responded to a disabled vehicle on Main Street (vehicle towed), helped locate an impaired subject and return the subject home, assisted a citizen on West Alna Road, and assisted Wiscasset Ambulance Service with a combative subject during a medical call.
