The Wiscasset Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Feb. 5-11:
Nathaniel Grasser, warrant for unpaid fine, Feb. 5.
Corey Parsons, 41, Wiscasset, domestic violence assault, Feb. 7.
Feb. 5: Officers responded to a disabled motor vehicle at Hale Pond Road and Indian Road (towed), gave a warning for inspection on Gardiner Road, responded to a parking problem at High Street and Main Street (improper parking – too close to intersection), responded to a parking problem at High Street and Fort Hill Street (ticket for parking in front of a “no parking” sign), responded to a motor-vehicle accident at Bath Road and Shady Lane (minivan struck by FedEx truck – no injuries), and assisted another agency.
Feb. 6: Officers responded to an animal complaint on Shinbone Alley, conducted a welfare check on Rocky Ridge Drive (elderly female had fallen – transported to hospital), responded to a report of suspicious activity on Willow Lane (coyote hunting – no problems), responded to a report of suspicious activity on Bog Road (car parked in drive of abandoned residence), and investigated a report of theft/forgery/fraud.
Feb. 7: Officers took a report of a missing person, received a harassment complaint, investigated suspicious activity at the Irving gas station, and responded to a domestic disturbance on Gibbs Road.
Feb. 8: Officers conducted a pedestrian check on Bath Road, received a report of an unwanted subject at Huber’s Market (transported to hospital), assisted a citizen on Hodge Street (owner locked out of house), and assisted another agency.
Feb. 9: Officers conducted a pedestrian check on Bath Road (taken to family/guardian), responded to a motor-vehicle accident on Westport Bridge Road, responded to a two-vehicle accident on Bath Road, conducted traffic control in the school zone on Gardiner Road, responded to a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street (pushed into empty lot), responded to a medical emergency on Hilltop Drive (transported to hospital), assisted another agency, and investigated a report of suspicious activity at the Wiscasset Post Office.
Feb. 10: Officers investigated a violation of a protection order on Hilltop Drive, received a late report of an assault on Gardiner Road, and assisted a citizen at the Taste of the Orient.
Feb. 11: Officers investigated a burglar alarm on Clarks Point Road (mouse in basement), assisted emergency medical services with a medical emergency on Federal Street, conducted a death investigation on Rummerill Road, and responded to burglar alarms at Wiscasset Elementary School and Rynel (false alarms).
