The Wiscasset Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Feb. 26 to March 4:
Ronald Smith, 35, West Bath, violation of protection order, March 2.
Todd Stead, operating under the influence, March 3.
Charlotte Wallace, 26, Wiscasset, violation of condition of release, March 4.
Timothy Dempsey, 27, Leominster, Mass., failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to wear seat belt, imprudent speed, March 3.
March 3: Federal Street – Mark Ezzell, 52, of Westport Island, backed into a vehicle operated by Madeline Maclaren, 69, of Wiscasset, in the Sheepscot Bay Apartments parking lot. No injuries.
March 3: Vicinity of Young’s Point Road and Eaton Cove Road – Timothy Dempsey, 27, of Leominster, Mass., was driving a 2017 Toyota when it went off the road and into some trees.
Feb. 26: Officers conducted traffic control by Wiscasset Elementary School, responded to a juvenile problem at Wiscasset Middle High School, responded to a burglar alarm (false alarm), responded to a non-reportable motor-vehicle accident at McDonald’s, and investigated a report of erratic operations.
Feb. 27: Officers issued a parking ticket on Water Street, issued two parking tickets on Summer Street, assisted a citizen, investigated three reports of erratic operations on Route 1, investigated a traffic hazard, responded to a hit-and-run motor-vehicle accident (no injuries), and conducted a welfare check.
Feb. 28: Officers investigated a report of erratic operations on Route 1 (could not locate vehicle), assisted a citizen, gave a warning for speeding, and investigated a juvenile problem.
March 1: Officers conducted traffic control on Gardiner Road by Wiscasset Middle High (no violations observed), conducted traffic control on Federal Street by Wiscasset Elementary, investigated a juvenile problem at Wiscasset Middle High, conducted a welfare check, investigated a juvenile problem at Maplewood Trailer Park, conducted a compliance check, and investigated suspicious activity.
March 2: Officers investigated two car vs. deer motor-vehicle accidents, investigated a juvenile problem on Bath Road, investigated a juvenile problem on Evergreen Street, investigated suspicious activity, and investigated a juvenile problem at Wiscasset Middle High.
March 3: Officers responded to a burglar alarm (building/area checked/secured), conducted a welfare check, responded to a motor-vehicle accident at Birch Point Road and Westport Bridge Road, investigated two reports of erratic operations, and responded to a domestic disturbance.
March 4: Officers conducted a welfare check.
