The Wiscasset Police Department reports the following activity for the period of April 16-22:
Taylor Delano, 18, Wiscasset, attaching false plates, operating without a license, April 19.
Scott Poland, 45, Newcastle, failure to provide proof of insurance, April 21.
April 16: Officers responded to two burglar alarms (false alarms), conducted 19 property checks, and responded to a traffic hazard.
April 17: Officers conducted a 911 check, investigated a hold-up alarm, received a noise complaint (no action required), investigated a noise complaint, conducted seven property checks, investigated two complaints of erratic operations and gave two verbal warnings, gave a verbal warning for trespassing, responded to a burglar alarm (false alarm), and investigated suspicious activity.
April 18: Officers investigated an assault complaint, responded to a disabled motor vehicle, conducted a 911 check, and conducted seven property checks.
April 19: Officers conducted four property checks, referred a complaint of erratic operations, investigated suspicious activity, conducted a welfare check, responded to a traffic hazard (removed), assisted another agency, and responded to a parking problem.
April 20: Officers received a complaint of a traffic hazard (could not locate), assisted another agency, conducted 14 property checks, responded to a car vs. deer motor-vehicle accident by the Wiscasset Quik-Stop, and gave a verbal warning for a defect.
April 21: Officers conducted 26 property checks, responded to a disabled motor vehicle, conducted community policing on Main Street, conducted community policing at the Wiscasset Community Center, investigated a burglary, conducted a special detail at Wiscasset Speedway, investigated criminal mischief, conducted a 911 check, gave a verbal warning for a defect, and gave a warning for a defective light.
April 22: Officers responded to a juvenile problem, responded to a medical emergency, investigated a trespassing complaint, conducted 13 property checks, gave a warning for harassment, gave five warnings for speeding, responded to an assault, and investigated a threatening complaint.
