Art show reception

‘Jumping to Japan’
Lincoln Health and Let’s Go! Lincoln County hosted the 15th annual winter physical activity challenge “Jumping to Japan.” BCS jumped on board in a big way this year with almost 100 percent school participation. This seven-week event ran from Jan. 8 to Feb. 23 and required at least 30 minutes of exercise four times per week. The classrooms plotted their activity times on a map charting their path to Japan and back to Maine. To top off the event, representatives from LincolnHealth visited our classrooms dressed as lobsters to award medals to participants.
Pre-K 2018-2019
To prepare for next year’s pre-K class, if one has or knows of a child who is 4 years old on or before Oct. 15 and lives in Bristol, please call the BCS office at 677-2678. Pre-K registration will be held in early May.
Easter egg hunt
The annual free Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m. Children ages 0-10 are welcome to participate. Remember to bring a basket, bucket, or bag to hold eggs and don’t forget to stop at the front door to enter children’s names for the door prize. The Easter Bunny will arrive by fire truck at the New Harbor fire station. The event will take place rain or shine.
