Lincoln Academy golf coach Todd Brackett was named the 2010 KVAC Class B Coach of the Year. “The team had a fantastic season. I’ve really enjoyed watching them. I didn’t expect this. It is always an honor to be recognized by your peers,” Brackett said on receiving the award.
The Eagles finished their KVAC season with a 9-1 record and were crowned KVAC Class B champions.
Three Eagle golfers were chosen to the KVAC All Conference team, including Kelsey Leeman, freshman Seward Matel, and junior Malcolm Oliver. Medomak Valley’s Zach Judkins was also selected to the KVAC All Conference team.
Medomak’s Alana Vose was named to the KVAC All-Conference team, and Mallory Conary to the KVAC second team.
Lincoln Academy boys’ soccer player Sam Stone was named to the KVAC All- Conference team, and goalkeeper Kyle Scherer to the KVAC second team.
KVAC All-Academic honors were presented to the following boys and girls soccer players: From Lincoln Academy, Jackson Cromwell, Liam Mullen, Samuel Stone, Ryan Wahle, Sean Daigle, Sarah Alley, Katherine Bolster, Anna Budrow, Emma Lazzari and Kathleen (Katie) Moran; and, from Medomak Valley Issac Durkee, and Roxanne Jelenfy.
Medomak Valley runner Gwen Moiles was selected to the KVAC All-Conference team, and Panther teammate Megan Wyllie to the KVAC second team.
