Wiscasset girls’ soccer team is adjusting to a new coach and new mascot this fall. Duane Goud takes over the high school program after coaching three years at the middle school level. “I think we’ll be tough. We’ll be young,” Goud said.
The Lady Wolverines competed in nine games during the summer program and went 4-3-2.
Goud said he wants to “build the program. I want to be competitive. We’re going to play to win. My main focus is on playing smart, but playing physical. I’m hoping we’ll be in really good shape so when they’re on the field they can give 110 percent.”
