The Lady Panther soccer team picked up their first win of the season home on Sept 10 2-1 against Oak Hill. After a scoreless first half, Alanna Vose and Maria Ennamorati scored for Medomak, and Abby Goulet for the Raiders.
Medomak held a 15-12 advantage in shots. Amanda Hendrickson-Belloguet made 10 saves in net for the Panthers, and Darby Beaulieu 11 saves for the Raiders.
Ennamorati assisted Vose’s goal and Emily Leach assisted Ennamorati’s goal.
Leavitt took a 1-0 lead at the 29:28 mark of the first half on a shot from Bri Hammond. Alanna Vose tied the game for the Panthers with 13:47 to go in the first half. Medomak took the lead six minutes into the second half when Kasey Benney found net on a feed from Vose.
Hammond tied the game midway through the second period. Maria Treadwell scored the winning goal with 16:48 to go and Jenna Cote scored with 10 seconds remaining.
Leavitt held a 14-8 advantage in shots, with Amanda Hendrickson-Belloguet making 10 saves for the Panthers and Kelly Pomerleau 6 for Leavitt.
Medomak’s record is 1-2-0, and Leavitt is 4-0.
Scoring for the Panthers were Emily Leach and Kasey Bener. Alanna Vose picked up an assist. Caroline Matteo scored two goals, Mia Maddox one goal, Melanie Vangel had one goal and two assists and Jackay Richards one assist.
Amanda Hendrickson-Belloquet made 18 saves for the Panthers, and Lindsay Bumbalo 16 for the Jammers. The Panthers had 25 shots and Camden 24.
